Let's Go Giants!

Giants Games are a summer staple in our house! We love going once or twice a season! This time we went to celebrate my dad's birthday and enjoyed the company of my mother in law Janet being in town. We had a large group of 10 so making our way in to the stadium was certainly a feat- especially without a stroller! The stadium is NOT stroller friendly- there's really no where to store it but dragging our four kids from a very faraway parking spot can be fun. Camden alternated from his independent put me down, I want to walk toddler moments to his velcro baby don't put me down. Evelyn pretty much wanted to be carried the entire time! Plus a huge staple in our large group is bringing ALL the snacks with us. Pro tip- call any bag a diaper bag and toss a diaper in there for good measure to get past the security's rule of see through bags. You can also bring a refillable water bottle to fill inside. We brought PB and J's, chips, cut fruit, popcorn, and goldfish which helped keep the kids entertained for a bit before heading over to the Coke Slide. Giants played a great game with a lot of action including their best player getting a catastrophic injury but in the end won 4-3. Since it was a day game it ended by 3:30 so we still had a bit of stamina to join in on the fun of kids running the bases! We walked around the stadium and down to the field- a first for all of us! We were worried Camden wouldn't make it with no adults allowed on the field but thankfully big sister Josie came to the rescue and carried him around the bases while Evelyn gleefully sprinted his way to home base!
